Thinking about it leaves me in awe.
I gave Him my hopes and dreams. The plans I laid out for my life. And what happened when I did was extraordinary.
As a thirty-five year old woman with no kids, my life has revolved around my career. And after working seven different jobs in the past eight years, I finally decided to get serious about my future. So I began to seek God for a new lifelong career that would bring me great joy and fulfillment.
And the career He chose for me was so much better than what I had planned for myself.
God has known me my entire life. Even the life I haven’t lived yet. I only see a small piece of the picture, but He’s the one who’s seen it all, from beginning to end.
So I can trust Him with my hopes and dreams. With overcoming the crippling anxiety, fear and depression that has plagued my life.
