Freedom is Your Inheritance.
"He is the One who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free..."
Friend are you at rest in life?
Or have you stumbled upon a path of fear, uncertainty, and confusion?
Did you know you are seated in the heavenly places with Christ?
Take a minute and think about that. Why are we encouraged to set our hearts and minds on things above?
Because that’s where we are, in Christ. Your status as a believer.
Jesus has already done the work needed for victory in this life.
So now as believers, we operate from a position of rest. Let that sink in son or daughter of God. Because of the finished work of the cross, you are seated in the heavenly places with Christ.
Your position, status, and work…is REST.
Once you get that you are SEATED and are now operating from a place of REST in Christ, it changes how you view your life. No longer is it necessary to strive or worry about this life.
Because the work was FINISHED.
God took six days for creation, and on the seventh day He rested.
And because He created us on the sixth day, we were born into God’s rest. We work from a place of rest. We eat, sleep and breathe from rest. Even in His redemptive work in us, it’s not about what we DO for God, but what He has already DONE for us. We start off…at rest.
Freedom is your inheritance.
When you believe you are seated, there’s no room for fear, worry, or anxiety. The work has been finished in Christ. God is the one orchestrating your life.
The only thing you need to do is to make sure you’re living your life in Christ.
Are you? How is your daily time with the Lord? Where are you struggling? Are you connecting with God’s heart daily? What’s standing in the way?
