Freedom is Your Inheritance.

"He is the One who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free..."

Hebrews 9:15

Sis, are you at rest in life?

Or have you stumbled upon a path of fear, uncertainty, overwhelm and confusion?

Did you know you are seated in heavenly places with Christ?

It’s a profound truth that often eludes us in the hustle and bustle of daily life. But as believers we must let this truth shift our perspective, because of faith in the finished work of the cross we are seated in the heavenly places with Christ.

Kings sit to demonstrate their authority and power.

And you are seated with Him.

For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6

God took six days for creation, and on the seventh day He rested.

And because He created us on the sixth day, we were born into God’s rest. We work from a place of rest. We eat, sleep and breathe from rest.

Even in His redemptive work…

it’s not about what we do for God but what He has already done for us.

We operate from a position of rest. Your position, status, and work…is rest.

No longer is it necessary to strive or worry about your life and purpose because Jesus has already secured victory through His sacrifice on the cross.

He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through him, you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God. 1 Peter 1:20

We take hold of this faith and hope daily by simply abiding in Him, communing heart to heart, and surrendering any obstacles that hinder our connection with Him.

Paul tells us to set our hearts and minds on things above because as believers that’s our current standing in Christ.

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. Romans 5:1

Claim Your Inheritance: Embrace Freedom

This blog exists to hold your hand as you learn to fully embrace your identity as one seated in heavenly places. Then fear, worry, and anxiety will begin to lose their grip on your life, and be replaced by faith, hope and love.

So you will never have to strive and toil for your life, business and ministry, but learn to align your world with the freedom found in Christ.

Take a moment to reflect: How is your relationship with the Lord? Where do you encounter struggles? What barriers exist between you and God’s heart?

God went to immeasurable lengths to free and redeem us.
