Have you ever been like me, wondering if you’re walking in God’s perfect will for your life?

You know God has a plan, but you’re unsure of what it is.

I ask because our emotions usually guide our actions, and we can’t always tell when our emotions are being tampered with.

We can’t always tell when we’re being redirected from God.

Our thinking can get distorted with the subtle lies that we believe from the enemy. Those lies that cripple our soul with negative thoughts and keep us bound.

You are messing it up.

God doesn’t see you.

God can’t use you.

To effectively resist those lies, we have to guard our hearts with God’s righteousness.

That just means we have to choose; we have to agree with God on how to live and how to think.

How do we do that?

We align ourselves with God’s Word.

Two Effortless Ways to Align Yourself With God’s Word

1. Know God’s truth.

2. Believe God’s truth.

When you align yourself with God’s word in these two ways, you can finally take action on what God is saying.

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.  For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.  But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.

James 1:22-25

Once you believe with your whole heart, you can place God’s truth above the lies saying you feel anxious, you are not worthy, you are messing up, God doesn’t see you, and God doesn’t love you.

You will know you are walking in God’s will because you’ll know the truth, and then you can tell the devil with confidence to get behind you!

Those thoughts and attitudes are just a distraction, a trap to keep you bound by sin, giving up your free will, unable to do what God desires you to do.

To live the abundant life He’s called you to live. It’s a setup like Eve in the garden of Eden.

Did God really say?

The enemy

Align yourself with God’s Word today and reclaim your confidence in Christ Jesus.

Love you, be blessed and encouraged.
