- Scripture – Write out the scripture you’re studying slowly and methodically, and allow God’s word to really sink in. Next, repeat it out loud.
- Observation – Ask yourself what stood out to you as you read? Was any word or phrase repeated? What really resonated with you? What does this scripture tell you about God? About Jesus?
- Application – Think about how you will apply this scripture to your everyday life. What habits or actions do you need to give to God in prayer? Write them here.
- Prayer – Pray to your Heavenly Father about what you’ve read and learned during your study. Ask the Holy Spirit for strength and wisdom, and thank God for what He is doing in your heart and your life.

- Or just staple it all together if you’re not feeling too fancy!
